I downloaded adobe flashhplayer several times on my laptop, on windows 7, no go! Need help

I downloaded adobe flash player on my lap top windows 7 several times. No go !  What else can I do.  Help Please!!

You write that you "downloaded" Flash Player; did you also install it?

If yes, then what exactly means "no go"?  What web browser are you using?  If Internet Explorer, check
