Hi,

I am new to cold fusion and have been hunting for something that will take me through creating a very simple (e.g. "Hello World") cold fusion application in CF10. I have just downloaded the developer edition and have been unsuccessful at finding something that actually gets me started! The web site is all about what's new in 10, etc, but nowhere can I find something that takes me through the steps of creating, installing and testing the application.

I'm also somewhat of a beginner and would highly recommend you pick up a ColdFusion book by Ben Forta.  If you want a free alternative, check out www.learncfinaweek.com .  Great site and very informative to get you started.

Not too sure about www.learncfinaweek.com.  Here is an example from one of the lessons.

<cfset ThisIs = "fun" />

The syntax is incorrect.  There should be no slash before the closing angle bracket.
