My CF10 is acting weird

So I got CF10 installed on my server next to xampp, when I launch the installer and get to this screen:

http://puu.sh/1uAB4

Then when I click "ADD" and go to xampp conf folder etc. I get this message:

http://puu.sh/1uADv

And then click OK, I get the next error message:

http://puu.sh/1uAEI

Is there any way to resolve this problem, or maybe the download link to Coldfusion 8?

Kind regards,

Lennert

Not having installed XAMPP myself on Windows, are you sure it's 64-bit on Windows? I suspect it's a 32-bit environment even on 64-bit Windows.

Have you tried checking the 32-bit option on the ColdFusion dialog?

What is the xampp version? 32 bit or 64 bit?

...And the steps you have taken to get the 64-bit version working? As we know, Xampp is 32-bit only, so you must have used unofficial binaries, or compiled it yourself.

If that be so, then shouldn't LennertLeers check the checkbox ("Configure 32 bit webserver") in the second printscreen (http://puu.sh/1uADv)?

...unless he really has 64-bit Xampp, which is also possible -as I referred - if you use unofficial binaries or compile/install individual packages yourself...  in which case, it kind of negates the easiness of a pre-built installation suite anyway, doesn't it?

Did you ever get it to work?  I'm getting the same error message.  I tried reintalling coldfusion 10 and checked the 32-bit webserver box and still get the same error message
