I have been using ADE successfully for several months on my Nook. All of a sudden now, I get a message "user not activated" I went to B & N for support and they said I need to solve the problem through ADE. I may have to deactivate my account, then reactivate. I don't see any place to do this. Can someone give me help? Thanks so much.

I've had the same issue. I've tried restarting my computer, turning my Nook off then back on multiple times, (there is no hole in the back for a "restart" ) I've uninstalled ADE reinstalled, made sure my Nook was updated. My Nook still reads" User not authorized:" and when I tried (for the last day to authorize my ADE on my computer I still get the msg "activeration server error 'E_Auth_Not_Ready" AGGG! What else can I do???

I too have no hole for a restart. I finally went into settings, then Device
Information, and then erase and deregister Nook. I had only one book I was
reading, and it had not expired yet on ADE, so I figured I could re
download it. I got the message that any books purchased from B & N would
still be available in my account. To my surprise, when I re downloaded my
book, the other expired library books jumped from ADE onto my Nook also. I
really didn't want them, but everything is working good now, so I am not
complaining. Good luck.

It worked! I was leary of erasing and deregistering my Nook. but you're right, everything came back. i was able to redownload the library book I was reading so now I can finish the last two chapters, Thanks so much!!

I am so glad. I was just so frustrated, and was really afraid to
deregister, but hurray for both of us.
