Is there a way to set keyboard shortcuts for custom tools?

I have several cutom tool in my toolbar and would love have hotkeys for them so I don't have to click on the every time, but from what I can tell there's no way to set them in the Keyboard Shortcuts menu. Has anyone found a way around this?

          Perhaps this will help:

If you have custom commands under the Command Menu, you can add custom keybindings (shortcuts) by going to the Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts menu. You'll need to be working in a custom set of shortcuts, so if the "current set" says "Adobe Standard" you'll need to press the Duplicate Set button (next to the current set dropdown list - its the button with the two boxes and a blue arrow). Give your custom set of shortcuts a name and then proceed to find your command and assign a shortcut.

Any custom panels you have loaded should show up under "Drawing Menu Commands > Other Panels >". JSFL Commands are listed under commands, naturally :-)
