Hi, I have turned on client certificates in SunOne 6.1 web server. I'm running Coldfusion MX 6.1, SunOne 6.1, and ValiCert. The client cert is validated, but my problem is the cgi cert variables (cgi.cert_subject, cgi, cert_server_issuer, or cgi.cert_server_subject) are not being populated. How do I get the cgi cert variables to populate or should I be looking for a different variable to implement single sign on (certificate authentication) instead of user_id and password?

Did you ever figure another option for client certificates?  I am using CF 8.0 and was able to use client certs back in CF 4.5.  Thx
