Update Issue with installer

Trying to install player to most current version. Installer times out at 7%. Tried many times with the same result. Running Windows 7-64 bit. I tried shutting off all security systems, also uninstalled previous version of player. I get the same result every time. I don't get it. Never had this trouble before. At this point, I would be happy with the older version back in my computer! Can anyone give me some feedback?
