How about using java -jar option from the command prompt to run? For example, C:\ColdFusion10\jre\bin>java -jar c:\cf10_mdt_updt.jar.

Have you applied the mandatory update? You can get it from here - http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads_updates.html

Does it prevent you from installing the update if you were to proceed without "Run As Admin" rights? It might still install but you would need to restart the server yourself. Give it a try and let us know if it works.

Thanks for the message and help,

There is no run as administrator option when I right click on the icon on the desktop for some reason.

I tried to use ctrl-shift-return to run as administrator for mandatory update, but still get error message that I need admin rights to run the application.

I tried to do update, I still get error message when do the update 1.

Thanks again for helping and informaiton,

Regards,

Iccsi,

I had the same problem "failed signature verification" even after I successfully installed the mandatory update.  The problem was with my cacerts file.  (C:\ColdFusion10\jre\lib\security\cacerts ) We use a customized cacarts file.  I restored the cacerts file back to the original version that came with the CF install. Restarted the ColdFusion service and the update worked!  Then I put my custom cacerts file back and restarted CF.
