Hello, so my NOOK is broken and while I wait for a new one I want to read my books on my PC using ADE.  However, when I go to download from my B&N account, ADE requires an unlock code?  I was able to download and read a few books a couple months back, so is this a new requirement?  Also, how do I go about fixing that without having to plug in my NOOK to the PC (which as I stated before is BROKEN so would be no help anyway).  Why would B&N have this feature if it wasn't compatible?

The unlock code is your name as it appears on your Credit Card, and the Credit Card number.

Alternatively you can download Nook for PC from B&N: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/nook-for-pc/379003591/

Or if you have Windows 8 you can use the Windows 8 application: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/nook-for-windows-8/379003757/
