I have a 14 sec comp. When I render it and export it, the MOV file is 14 sec. So far, so good. But when I play the MOV file in QT, it plays for nearly 20 sec, even though the timer in QT is stopping at 14 sec! Very strange. One side note, I have a comp that's looped in my project. Any idea what creates this?
That what I thought also. But why does the time indicator in QT is at zero, while the video keeps on playing? Usually, when a video file is too big, it plays slowly or keeps on stalling, but the time indicator follows allong.
If you're relying on QT Player for an accurate assessment of a file, don't: you'll be disappointed. Instead, take the clip into an editing application or even into AE to see accurate frame rates and timings.
