Have you checked to see if it is visible in Start>All Programs?

What happens when you try installing again?  Does it ask to remove the software?

Same thing, appears to complete the install process correctly but no startup

icon or any other startup file can be found, I've tried it 4 times.

If you have tried checking both the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folder and you can't find any indications of the Photoshop Elements installation then please contact our support team.

I've contacted them 3 times and each time, after a lengthy chat, they refered me

to an 800 number that charges for assistance.

No, my bad, after the lengthy chats with the same results I was quite frustrated

and just quit. I should have saved the chats, again, my bad. I did notice after

my last attempt that the install seem to be successful but at the very end a

message "Below mentioned application has failed to install: Shared

Technologies" and then a brie message "backing out of the install process

appears" then the Adobe Photoshop icon on my desktop also disappears. It is

frustrating, I use this program at work and like it, hence my purchasing it for

home.

Notterfamily can you please private message me with your Adobe ID.  I will see if I can track down your interaction through that route.

I have Premiere Elements also but I haven't brought that up in any of the chats,

I'd be happy just to get Photoshop working.
