Installation error/other programs

How do I install Flash player if the installation program is not able to continue installation because of other programs like antivirus (Avast) that cannot be deactivated for oblivious reasons?

Do you know that it is Avast blocking the installation?  In that case temporarily disable it for the duration of the installation.
