E_AUTH_FAILED

Hi.
i get this error message when trying to authorise my digital editions:
E_AUTH_FAILED http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/AddSignInDirectmy.email%40myemail.com
I have logged into the ID on the main site, so i know its works
I have disabled firewall.
I will now try re-installing, but i doubt it will help...do any of you know a fix?
PS im running XP home edition.

I am getting the same error message when I try to activate Digital Editions.

E_AUTH_FAILED http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/addsignindirect myemail@gmail.com.  What do I need to do?

Hi,

I have the same problem on my ebook. I try to create my account on the ebook, but it say "the AdobeID and the password doesn't match". We try with another mail adress, sometimes we have the error E_AUTH_FAILED...

On this website we can login, so the account is working...
