Having problems Downloading flash player

I have windows 7 and I am trying to download and install flashplayer. It tells me to close out of internet explorer and retry. Ive done that and still will not finish downloading. What Can I do to get this to download and install?

Hi Katrina,

Please check the 'Processes' tab in 'Task Manager' and ensure 'iexplore.exe' is not running. If it does, end the process and try installing flash player.

Download the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_hea... then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
