I downloaded Adobe Digital Ed. 2.0 in order to borrow e-books from my library to read on my Nook.  But I skipped the step where I was supposed to authorize my computer to sync with the Nook.  Now the book is on my computer but not on my Nook.  How do I go back and authorize my computer to sync?  I tried to un-install the program and start again but it didn't let me???  Any ideas?

Moving this discussion to the Adobe Digital Editions forum.

Are you able to see the Nook in Adobe Digital Editions?  Which Nook are you trying to utilize?

Can you clarify if this is a dedicated Nook eReader or a Nook tablet, please?

They will behave quite differently.

Comments below for nook eReader.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

There are two authorization steps:

1 - register your computer to your AdobeID.

2 - register your device to your AdobeID.

If the Nook isn't yet authorized, then when you start Digital Editions with the Nook plugged in, it should ask you to register/authorize.

Once both of these are done, you should be able to copy.

~~~
There have been some issues with devices half registering but not quite.
If you think that may be the case, try deregistering the device (ctrl-shift-E to ADE), unplug. replug, and you should be asked to reregister.
~~~

There have been quite a few issues with ADE2.0 which were not present in 1.7.2,

it may be that ininstalling V2.0 and installing that will work better for you.

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
