Adobe combined 2 ID's for me, and now I can't authorize my computer to accept Kobo for \Adobe digital editions. I have trying to get thru to Tech services at the 1800-833-6687 number  for 4 days with no success. All the help suggestions seem to have a circular reference. Is this normal customer support for Adobe? Anybody got any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

Customer Service was probably closed during between Christmas and New Years. You should be able to contact them at this time. There is a special forum for Adobe Digitial Editions:

http://forums.adobe.com/community/adobe_digital_editions

However, I think you need to contact Customer Service with your issue.
