c.pfaffenbichler Aug 2, 2010 8:44 AM (in response to Webkinzhodder)You should still be able to use some of the 3D-features, like 3D – New Shape From Layer, to create simpler forms like cubes and cones or Place 3D-models, but to use Repoussé you might have to invest in a new video card.

Hi Alex,
Have you tried creating a Shape layer or Text layer first, then seeing if Repoussé is active?

waynemor Dec 10, 2011 6:55 PM (in response to Webkinzhodder)It may have nothing to do with open GL at all. I was jsut having the same problem and I solved it by switching form CMYK back to RGB.
Problem solved - 3D works perfectly again

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delay in one year with the answer )
Now it seems sorted, I created a shape, rasterized it and Repousse seems is active. I can see all 3D modeliing tools.

NaMasteY GR Jan 5, 2013 4:38 PM (in response to c.pfaffenbichler)I need a quick help over here ..i have Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 Extended,,and i have 3D tab at top ..but when i (ex.) type something with Type tool...and i do all steps that i want to create 3D text..and when i click on 3D tab..and all options are GRAY ..and i canno't use response ...or any other options..and in prefrences OpenGL is enabled .and everything is Ok..and my video card is ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 ..and when i go to upgrade my card it says that video card is up to-date ...if someone know maybe to help me or something..i will be very happy .THANKS FORWARD!!
