2. Re: Scroll position on Markers panel
Allynn Wilkinson Jan 8, 2013 10:53 AM (in response to JSS1138)Same thing but it seems to be a bit more complicated than I originally thought.
If I navigate the markers in the timeline with "shift-M" and "shift-command-M" they highlight appropriately in the Markers panel. If, however, I click on a Marker in the panel and then click somewhere in the Timeline that is *not* a Marker, the scroll bar in the Marker panel jumps. It doesn't jump to the Marker nearest the playhead in the Timeline (which would make sense). I can't figure out why it jumps to where it does. It seems to "remember" an earlier Marker but I can't make it behave the same way twice! I think that's what most frustrating to me. If I understood why it did what it did I could try to change my technique.
Probably not a big deal but I wish I understood it's logic

3. Re: Scroll position on Markers panel
JSS1138 Jan 8, 2013 11:05 AM (in response to Allynn Wilkinson)Curious.
For me, clicking the marker in the Marker pane puts the CTI on that marker in the sequence, which is good. Similarly, moving the CTI to a maker in the sequence will highlight that marker in the Marker pane, also good. Not sure what else is needed on this one.

4. Re: Scroll position on Markers panel
Ann Bens Jan 8, 2013 11:05 AM (in response to JSS1138)I see the same as Jim.
If Premiere is acting weird trash the preferences.
Start Premiere with holding shift + Alt until welcome screen.

5. Re: Scroll position on Markers panel
Allynn Wilkinson Jan 8, 2013 11:13 AM (in response to JSS1138)Ok... what happens if you click on a marker in the Marker panel and then click *near* that marker (but not on it) in the Timeline? That's when it jumps for me.
Again, not a deal breaker and I will try trashing the prefs as Ann suggests.

6. Re: Scroll position on Markers panel
JSS1138 Jan 8, 2013 3:08 PM (in response to Allynn Wilkinson)The Marker pane 'scrolls' to the top.
But...I'm not sure of the purpose of clicking 'near' a marker, especially when you can get there exactly, which then highlights that marker in the Marker pane.
