1. Re: Horrible drawing performance in Flash CS5.5 compared to CS3 on Mac
Rob Dillon Jan 15, 2013 5:49 AM (in response to soom1976)I use an Intuos 4 tablet with CS6, and 5.5 and 5 before that. I am not seeing the problem that you are experiencing. I'm using a Mac Pro with OS X 10.8.2. The pencil and brush tools work as expected.

soom1976 Jan 15, 2013 6:35 AM (in response to Rob Dillon)I'm on Intuos 3 and on Cintiq 12" - same thing. I just tried on Flash CS6 - similar results to Flash CS3, so it's better than CS5, but still laggy. But did you try to draw really fast? I don't understand where the problem could be - all other programs except Flash produce excellent results.

Rob Dillon Jan 15, 2013 12:43 PM (in response to soom1976)Fast or slow makes no difference in the output quality for me. Is there a driver update available for your tablet?
I just tried my tablet in my Macbook Pro with CS6 and it worked the same as on my Mac Pro. So, I don't think its the processor.

4. Re: Horrible drawing performance in Flash CS5.5 compared to CS3 on Mac
soom1976 Jan 16, 2013 1:34 AM (in response to Rob Dillon)I have the latest Wacom drivers for my model - it's the same driver for all Intuos and Cintiq models. Besides, as I said - the performance is perfect in all other software, except Flash. And also as I said - in Flash CS6 the performance is better than CS5.5, but not better than CS3... It is acceptable though, because it's rare that I will draw such fast lines - in my case I can see a clear difference in performance if I draw fast or slow. I have tried to compare results on my older MacBook Pro and I get similar results...
