Jonathan Herbach Sep 19, 2012 5:14 PM (in response to HeliumFish)There isn't an easy way to do this today but it's related to some concepts we have on our roadmap. Would you be willing to chat more off-line? /Jonathan

onpress mike Nov 6, 2012 4:51 PM (in response to Jonathan Herbach)I to am very interested in this. I was hoping of a way to send a request to my customer that will send them a link that would direct them to a branded page that that can upload there files to. I would then get an email notifcation of the new file and I can see it in my received file tab that I can download. Once I download the file it will email the customer telling them I have succesfully downloaded the file

Pat B123 Jan 15, 2013 4:01 PM (in response to HeliumFish)Add one more person who thinks that's a missing feature. I unfortunately subscribed before I realized that it's a one way connection. That's a serious feature that is missing. Please give us that capability as soon as possible. Thanks!

10. Re: Client upload to our Adobe SendNow account
NavLine Feb 28, 2013 8:59 AM (in response to Jonathan Herbach)A huge improvement for me would allow someone to upload a file specifically for me. This would be huge in some of my work; clients or volunteer members could upload and send in large files such pictures or videos for meet to include in brochures which I then distribute back out digitally through SendNow. That is the only lack right now. This isn't to allow a third party to send a file to a third party, but to enable me to specifically give a third party the ability to upload a large file for just me, the SendNow account owner, by doing something like giving a unique URL (which has an expiration date and allows only one use) the third party can use, which gives an upload interface. The third party would have only the option to upload a file or files, no other choices (like specifying a recipient or conversion to PDF) except maybe to confirm receipt. I would be willing to pay extra to enable a limited (as described above) ability to securely receive large files

11. Re: Client upload to our Adobe SendNow account
Pat B123 Feb 28, 2013 10:52 AM (in response to NavLine)There are a number of free file sharing utilities out there that already have this capability. I'm not going to be renewing SendNow as a result of this serious lack. I subscribed to this service with the assumption that this was already a feature because it is so very common among the free utilities. I was dumbstruck to find out that this service is only a one-way route.
I went out to the help screen one day because I had questions, and it directed me to a number of choices for contacting a support person. Unfortunately, SendNow wasn't listed as a service for which help was available. It is now becoming clear to me that this is a service that Adobe just threw together and has no intention of supporting or upgrading. It's really a poor service that is rivaled by the free services available elsewhere.

12. Re: Client upload to our Adobe SendNow account
NavLine Feb 28, 2013 1:51 PM (in response to Jonathan Herbach)Regarding free versus paid services here, I'm okay with this price point - the PDF conversion feature helps a lot and I'm more happy with the idea (true I hope) that my content isn't searched. Some of the other file sharing services at least initially were limited in file types and required unencrypted data. Also, some of the sites, particularly social media based, had terms of use that allowed them to appropriate for their use items posted there. While some of those agreements were rescinded and the allowable use by the site may have been restricted to advertising examples, I still prefer Adobe's cleaner statement that the content belongs to the subscriber.

sidewalktalk Mar 3, 2013 12:13 PM (in response to HeliumFish)I'm not currently a SendNow subscriber, but I'm also very interested in the ability to receive files from clients, with no registration required on their part. If this were implemented, I'd subscribe immediately.

HKChicago Apr 2, 2013 3:18 PM (in response to Jonathan Herbach)I can't believe we are even having this discussion.
It's amazing to me that a quality company as large (and with the resources) as Adobe doesn't already have a solution to the limitations described in some (not all) of these client posts
In other words, this is the year 2013...not 1913.
I have been using Adobe Send Now for a while (thinking about switching).
The internet and the cloud went from 'bleeding edge' to cutting edge years ago.
These are not hypothetical ideas; these are realities. The entire business (small & large) world is going digital in one form or another; AND they are going digital FAST.
The fact that people have to use a company like DropBox (and others), to do what Adobe SHOULD already be offering is sad.
And guess what...RAISE the Price a little bit for the added 'bells and whistles.'
the ability to accept files from clients without a registration on their part, privacy of content, the already existent download tracking, One-Click of a button storage of Adobe files into an Amazon S3 bucket for Permanent storage and etc...
how can you have an overall suite of quality products as good as Adobe has and then 'drop the ball' on this Send Now product.
In other words, how can a great company remain great by not even offering features in a Paid Product that other competitors who do the same thing offer for Free...Jeeeeez
With Love...Peace.

ada_mju Aug 20, 2013 4:07 AM (in response to Jonathan Herbach)August 2013, 20th today.
Will this feature be implemented? Is Adobe working on it yet?
There are free solution online to connect with dropbox, but they are public and placed on the website so everyone can upload whether we want or not.
As a paid subscriber to SendNow I would love to see this important features.I`m also premium user of Adobe Forms, which does great work and use https to make forms secure, why can`t SendNow do the same.
Let`s say, we make form for a client to upload their files and send them link like in Adobe Forms or make form public if we choose so
Thanks

18. Re: Client upload to our Adobe SendNow account
Pat B123 Aug 20, 2013 9:16 AM (in response to ada_mju)I think it's pretty obvious by now that Adobe has no interest in providing this most basic functionality to SendIt. I guess I shoud have paid attention to the name of the service
I won't be renewing and will continue to use DropBox as well as a few other cloud services that I have access to at no charge.

You nailed it. You`re right, the name says by itself. It`s not SendReseiveNow ;-)
I found http://dropitto.me as one of solutions.
Maybe Adobe could get idea from here -> http://www.jotform.com/dropbox/ (form drop templates)
