I was attempting to install Adobe Digital Edition to download books from my library to my Nook Simple Touch.  I made an error and authorized without registering with an Adobe ID.  I have now acquired an Adobe ID.  I can get the library book to my computer, but it is not available to transfer to my Nook.  How do I fix this?

Thanks

Moving this discussion to the Adobe Digital Editions forum.

You can perform the following steps to deauthorize and reauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.

  1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
  2. Press Control-Shift-D (Windows) or Shift-Command-D (Mac OS) to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
  3. Choose Help > Authorize Adobe Digital Editions.

As well as what Jeff suggested to deauthorize and reauthorize ADE on the computer,

you may need as well the similar ctrl-shift-E to deauthorize the Nook.

Restart ADE and you should get the option to authorize the Nook.
