Can a site template be made with a 3rd party code editor?

Hi there,

Going through BC documentation, it seems that Dreamweaver is the only way to build a site template or, at least, the preferred way.

I don't particularly like to use Dreamweaver when building websites, instead preferring 3rd party code editors.

Is BC tied to Dreamweaver or is there any documentation explaining tags and other variables for BC that allow me to use it with a 3rd party editor?

Thanks!
