You want to look at number of CUDA cores and memory bandwidth AND the power draw... since your HP is very likely to have a "not very large" power supply

Stanley Arthur Jan 30, 2013 12:54 PM (in response to John T Smith)Thanks, John. I'd have to say that the GTX 660ti looks like the clear winner for price point, CUDA cores and power consumption. I'm quite excited to find a card with triple the CUDA cores of my 470 and has a lower power requirement by 100 watts. I'm hoping this will improve real-time playback of AVCHD 1080p video from my Canon 7D. I'd be happy just to be able to go from 1/4 resolution to 1/2 without any color correction.
