In the rush to think that everything is Great..... People Can No longer get accesses to ADE 1.7.2! ADE 2.0 is causing issues on some WIN Platforms (XP and 7). The resolution thus far that I've been finding out is to install ADE 1.7.2!

My Problem is where can I get a copy of this version of the Software? I found 1.8, but I'm hearing that this version was the beta to 2.0!

You can get 1.7.2 from the Adobe site.  Much more reliable than V2.0 in many ways.

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

The forum software is sometimes corrupting the link above.  There shouldn't be a blank in 'editio ns.html'.  The following redirects to the same page: http://tinyurl.com/diged172

Thanks Kglad.....I also found a MS Site that had a File Just called Setup.EXE

(http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/trouble-launching-adobe-...)!  4.9 MB

I started it's execution and it was making an ADE install, what version I'm not sure about! The link you supplied  are to zip files!  13.5MB which are obviously named!

I need to uninstall version 2.0 prior to installing this version! Being I have books checked out now on my device that I can read,  I just want to get the download ready so that I can fix tmy ADE issue hopfully with this install!

I will update my own Question that asked once I perform this change! Since based on my current issues this is a copy of ADE that they should've left around for downloading vs forcing everyone to 2.0!
