Muse Update Errors! "installer file is damaged"

    eexeex

      HELP!

When trying to update to the latest Adobe Muse, I get the following error:

"Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."

I have tried downloading the Muse installer from the Adobe Muse site:

      http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=muse&loc=en_us&promoid=JBQZE

and simply by opening my existing copy of Muse, which prompts me to update.

Nothing I do works to fix this problem, not even following the directions the staff member Sachin provided in Oct 2012: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4767599 (see below)

      Hello,

Please refer to post # 29 by Colby on forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4762829#4762829) and use the link mentioned in the post to download and install Adobe Muse on your Mac.  We are currently facing issues with the default installer of Adobe Muse through Adobe Application manager. Our team is working on it and it should be fixed soon.

      Hope this helps.

      Regards,

      Sachin

      Hi Everyone,

To anyone who is having install problems on Mac, please follow these steps:

      1) Ensure that Muse is completely uninstalled: drag Adobe Muse from the Applications folder to the trash and empty the trash.

      2) Download Muse from the following link: http://adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac

      3) Install

Please note that this build won't work if Muse is already installed; you must uninstall previous versions of Muse first.

      Thanks,

      Colby

Well, I am not sure what is wrong. When I launch Muse, it tells me that there is a new version and I click Install Now. It runs as though it is going to isntall and then I get an error message that says:  Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author." SO, I go to my apps in the creative cloud and try to redownload, but it won't download! My Adobe Application Manager shows that it is installed and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do! what is happening! I want to update my Muse app. I am currently a Creative Cloud subscriber and all paid up! HELP!
