How to edit iPhone 5 video in Premiere Pro CS6?

I am new to Premiere Pro CS6 (new to video actually), and iPhones as well, and was wondering if there is a detailed procedure on editing iPhone 5 video in Premiere Pro CS6. Do I just attach the phone to the computer like any movie camera?

1. Sync your iPhone through iTunes in the usual way and upload the video file to your PC. 

2. Import the video file into Pr6 and drop it on to the New Item icon in Project Manager - this will create a timeline that matches the video spec of the iPhone 5 - which should be 1080p 30.

Of course, took a little time to figure out how to get file from iPhone to

computer. Ended up finding Image Capture does the trick.
