Using the list style

Hi, I am using RoboHelp HTML X3 and am having trouble using the 'list' style. If I apply it to a paragraph, a large space is added between the current and previous paragraph which I don't want. According to the style formatting, there is no 'before' spacing so it must be inbuilt to the style. There is also a considerable indent which I can't get rid of.

Is it possible to create a 'list' style that doesn't do this?

Thanks

Take a look at what is defined for your OL and UL tags.

Thanks Peter. I see the tags in the code but could you tell me where they are defined? As you can tell, I don't really know HTML, just the bits that I learn as I go along.

You can either go to Format | Styles and edit there or look in the topic Properties, see what style sheet is being used and edit that css file in Notepad or similar.
