Having read much on the types of video Muse can handle via Insert HTML I thought I'd try a new approach.
Using hosted [Youtube, Vimeo, etc.] is pretty straightforward in Muse.
Using native code requires a bit more work.
Having read that Muse and .swf files don't like to play well, I had an idea while using Encore.
1 - Produced a DVD movie using Encore with the following Build settings . . .

. . . to a folder [encoreCode] for example.
2 - Using an FTP client I uploaded the content of that folder to a folder/directory on my host.
Folder structure >

3 - Opened the index.html in a code-reader and copied the <object> tag code and Inserted it into a Muse page.
4 - Then Export to HTML in Muse
Folder structure >

5 - Used FTP client to upload the content of that folder into the exact same folder on the host where the Encore files reside - being sure the index.html overwrites the existing one.
6 - The result is another method of playing movies on a Muse page.
