installing flash

when i try to install flash player, all i get is a blank screen

Operating system is windows 8 and browser is ie 9 I think, it is the latest version of internet explorer.

With Windows 8, which has IE10. Flash player comes from Microsoft instead of Adobe.

Windows Update will take care of it
