Why is getting a working version of Flash Player for a non-Intel machine so hard/impossible?

I have a non-Intel Mac and your help page for such machines redirects to "error". Don't waste my time, I've tried periodically for months to upload an appropriate Player - but, nothing but horse pucky. Come on people, don't make promises you don't [] keep.

I have System 10.5.8 and can't watch anything. I've been a loyal Adobe Photoshop user for over 10 years and don't understand this un-cooperativeness from you.

I too have a Macbook and had to uninstall flashplayer because it wouldn't let me use my camera for skype; the link provided does not work at all, all I get is an internal error message.  Is there some reason flashplayer isn't allowing my camera to operate with skype?  What is the latest version that will allow it to work?

Hello,

Use Adobe Flash Player uninstaller to remove any version of Adobe Flash Player already installed (http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg)

Then download Adobe Flash Player 11.6 from here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

Thanks,

Vikram

Hello,

I am not sure, but you can try.

Does your camera ever worked with Skype ?

If yes, do you have any information about the version of Adobe Flash Player, with which camera worked with Skype ?

Thanks,
Vikram

My camera used to work until Adobe automatically updated my version of

flashplayer. I would have had whatever was the previous version until I

had to update. I try updating from the Adobe site but they don't work

either, I keep getting error messages.

Thanks for your help,

Frank

Hello,

If Adobe Flash Player 11.6 do not work then you can try old versions of Adobe Flash Player :

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
