When I export the product catalog, I am unable to open it in Excel. I receive the message below.
When I click yes, I am unable to parse the file (thinking it is a CSV file), but no luck there either...
Any ideas??
How do I create a custom export??
Also, I was told that I was added to the ADMIN role, but I do not think that happened... How can I check/verify this??

Not sure what your doing with the text import wizzard. You just need to download the file and then rename the file extension and open it normally. Your not doing a spreadsheet import or anything.

Rename it to .csv and open it up.

When I rename it to CSV, the header is repeated 5 times & my data looks like this....

when you do so you get a file with .xls file extension. Rename it to .csv before you open it.

Thanks for your help, but the problem was my installation of Excel. It could not or would not open/import the CSV file. I opened it on another PC today without any problems....
