Dominic Michael Aug 29, 2012 12:03 AM (in response to animoz)Mountain LION is not a supported platform for Adobe Contribute CS4. The supported versions are Latest Adobe Contribute 6.5 and Adobe Contribute CS5.X.

animoz Aug 29, 2012 5:10 AM (in response to Dominic Michael)Well fine. The article I had read on the website John Nack stated:
Earlier versions of Adobe Photoshop® (CS3 and CS4) software were also tested with Mountain Lion and there are currently no known issues.
But of course that was followed by a list of hapless, unfortunate, empty-pocketed Contribute CS4 owners' complaints in roughly the same vein as mine. So Iwill read the entire forum as your e-mail to me suggested but then go out a spend yet more money.

adventurelifelinks Nov 12, 2012 6:19 AM (in response to animoz)Help I too am having the same problem....
I have upgraded to Mountain Lion and Contribute cs4 has stopped working.... I am an outdoor coach with a website I need to to update, I earn less than £15,000 a year!
I am not in the computer business, and have paid for and used contribute around 6 times over the last 3years... DO I REALLY NEED TO BUY the latest version... is there no fix?
Apple and Adobe SHAME on you if this is the case!
any advise is appreciated!

I always assume my existing software isn't supported by new OS's unless I see information to the contrary. Just good practice.

There's always a choice. Contribute is simply a Content Management System. Try any number of free or paid for web editing softwares or learn HTML and CSS.

J4net Dec 29, 2012 8:30 PM (in response to Dominic Michael)If Contribute 6.5 does work well with Mountain Lion, why do the tech specs listed for it not include 10.8 (ML)?

MartyR707 Feb 25, 2013 7:36 PM (in response to Dominic Michael)Oh great! another upgrade downgrade. I am getting that error too since I so called "upgraded " to Mt. Lion. Will this never end? So there is no fix except for buying a new Adobe product. Apple and Adobe - shame shame shame!!!!!
