problems installing flash player to firefox

I have serious problems installing flash player to my browser as addon (I am using firefox 19.0). Any ideas?

What exactly are the "serious problems" you have?

Windows XP (32-bit) and it shows that flash 11.6.602.171 is already installed but when I check my browser's addons I cannot find it. I also have problem with my Java.
