are you using adobe application manager?

if yes, uninstall then then re-install it:  http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773

if not, check your install log files: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html

re-download premiere pro.

run the cs6 cleaner:  http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer.

try installing again.

I'm having this same issue at 22%.  Were you ever able to resolve this?  I utilized the CS6 cleaner and followed instructions to no avail.  I even downloaded adobe support advisor but it is not reporting an errors.  Looked all over the internet and am unable to resolve this issue.

I am not running adobe application manager.  Please excuse my ignorance, I followed your directions and opened the install log files unfortunately I do not know what I am looking at or for.
