Export out an AVI (Windows) or QuickTime (Mac) file using that codec. Do not use Match Sequence Settings, set your export up manually and correctly. This will give you a lossless file that can be used for further editing.

I Haven'y installed a codec before... there are a ton listed on that site... I'm assuming I want the latest (Jan 13) version? I'm on a Windows 7 machine.... So is it the "UTV 12.0.1 Windows exe" Download I need? Anything else?

The current version of the same software can be obtained from http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Ut-Video-Codec-Suite and doesn't report any issues.

Nope, just that. Run the .exe and the codec will show up in PP under Microsoft AVI.
