I didn't know about it. It's never happened to me in 3+ years and 3 different versions of PP.
My first guess is something is wrong with your system. A corrupt audio driver, a bad install of PP...something.

Creatively Bankrupt Mar 4, 2013 5:01 PM (in response to JSS1138)I found multiple references of people on these forums having the identical issue when rate-stretching a clip even 100.01%, dating back as far as CS3 - their workaround was to use another program to rate stretch or leave it at 100% and make incremental edits to keep things in sync - which is what I'm doing now.
I've been with Premiere for over a decade and new issues will always show up, depending on the media, codecs etc you're using.
