Why do my templates break whenever I load a stylesheet?

My page templates break any time I load a stylesheet. If I don't use a template or use one that doesn't have a stylesheet attached to it my products and catalog show up just fine. What's going on?

http://toffee01.businesscatalyst.com/order-test.html  This one uses a template that loads a stylesheet and the bc content doesn't render.

http://toffee01.businesscatalyst.com/order2.html   This one doesn't use a template and the content renders.

Hi,

They're both rendering now.

Are you still having any issues?

Kind Regards,

Alex

Thanks for the response Alex,

Sadly, no they're not rendering for me. I can see everything except the BC-rendered content.

What are you trying to do there? Make eCommerce without using the eCommerce?

One page you linked does not exist.

http://toffee01.businesscatalyst.com/corporate.html Has no CSS added to it in the head at all

http://toffee01.businesscatalyst.com/onepoundbox.html This is not a BC product but static and it looks like you trying to do the shopping cart manually?

The BC guys will log in to your site and check it out but I see several things at a glance that likely to be wrong.

Hi Liam,

Thanks for your response. I want to use the built-in e-commerce capabilities of bc. The onepoundbox.html page is simply a placeholder to guide me when I apply styles to the bc layout for products.

When I try to use BC tags for the catalog or product {module_catalog,####} the dynamically-generated content doesn't seem to render if I have any stylesheet applied to the template.

If I remove the template, the content renders.

Here's the code in the editable region of my page:

  <h1>Catalog Page</h1>

  <p>{module_catalogue,192388}</p>

When I load the page: http://toffee01businesscatalyst.com/catalog.html

http://toffee01.businesscatalyst.com/catalog.html

the catalogue doesn't show up. I don't understand why.

UPDATE:

It seems to be working now. In the sketch.css file that was copied to my local machine by bc, there was a class named .clear. This class was collapsing the div and all the bc-rendered content was set to visiblility:hidden and width and height was zero. Not sure why the .clear class was being applied by bc, but I changed it to visible and set the width and height.

Does anybody know if there is a reason not to edit the skecth.css file used by bc to render e-commerce modules?

Thanks for everyone who helped. You helped steer me in the right direction.
