Problems with AIR 3.6 overlay...

Hi,

I'm trying to install the AIR 3.6 SDK and...

"Could not resolve <s:ViewNavigatorApplication> to a component implementation."

Huh?

I've done about ten different SDK overwrites and never seen that!

Anybody any clues what I've forgotten to copy across / update / replace / delete / configure?

Thanks,

G

It's OK, Colin Holgate has resolved this one for me here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5129146#5129146

Check the name-spaces at the top of your main .mxml file...

They should be as follows:

xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"

xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"

At least, that's what fixed my problem when I started getting a bunch of component-implementation resolution problems.

Good luck.

Thanks, but no.

I made no changes to those and the app was (is) working perfectly in previous versions of AIR.

I've just double checked the namespaces and everything is as it should be.

Just...

"Could not resolve <s:ViewNavigatorApplication> to a component implementation."

Grrr... etc.
