Is it possible to rename or merge a project into a new one? I started a project but now want to call it something else and definitely don’t want to start over. I created a project (chm file) for a demo i had prior to creating my intital project and would now that my team have approved of my concept and look and feel I want to use what I have already built and just have a new name of it.

Thanks in advance
PS: I am using Robohelp Office Pro X5

Sorry about the 3 duplication messages. The site kept giving me an error and kicking me out so I didn't think it took my message.

Hi Mrs.Kirk

Is this for RoboHelp for Word or RoboHelp HTML? If it's RoboHelp HTML, you probably need to do a couple of things.

Click File > Rename Project... to rename the project "behind the scenes" files.

After you do this, you may need to change what appears in the title bar. You do this by editing the Project Settings dialog. (Click File > Project Settings...) and change the Project Title.

Hope this helps... Rick

With RoboHelp for Word, go into the RoboHelp Office help and search for "rename project". Print out the topic "Renaming projects" and follow the instructions.
Works for me...

It's for Robohelp HTML. I will give that a try.

Thank you very much.

I have another question and just want to be sure this can be done...

Will this method of renaming my project work if I have using RoboEngine?

Thanks
Mrs. Kirk
