Where to start with BC?

I may inherit a website built on BC. I see a page dedicated for free online training but none scheduled. Is that discontinued? The site owner wants to add a simple thing as drop-down menu, but the admin interface I find on support pages to stylize the menu looked different from his. I don't even know how to check its version. As you can see, I don't know where to start. Please guide me through. I need to know approximate time it requires to train someone like me with some other types of CMS experience. What user account information do I need to get and check in order to get a full support?

Hi,

Please review the articles found here as the information reflects the new interface.

Also there's tons of training videos to help guide you through your requirements from our partner BC Gurus.  I recommend reviewing the topics you need assistance with.

Hi Sidney,

I still struggle with putting a simple dropdown menu. I tried two

different methods: one commented in container.html in Module Templates

--> Menu --> Default (http://lwis.net/free-css-drop-down-menu); and one

from your forum, http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1921

I thought "Positioning a submenu under the top level site navigation"

http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/kb/customize-dynamic-menu-appearance.html

would be promising but I don't have the same interface shown on this

support page. I do not have the access to Partner Portal because my

client's former webmaster has the account with BC. She is not willing to

add the menu for him. Is that why I don't have these interface?

There is no "Dynamic Menu" as my choice at all. Are we on V1, V2, or V3

menu? Nothing is clear to me. Any idea why?

The site is: http://www.civicsforall.org

Are you logging into your site's admin here? - http://www.civicsforall.org/AdminConsole

By default you should be in V3 and can locate the menu section under "site manager".
