Adobe installation - Closing an application?

Hello, I am trying to install the most recent version of Adobe flash player on my computer (Windows) using internet explorer. However, every time I try to install it, it will get to about 50% installation, then stop. At this point it informs me that I need to close a program called Ares in order to continue  installation. I am not familiar with this program but I close every application I have open at that time and it didn't work. I even restarted by computer and it didn't work. What can I do?
