baxter290386 Mar 8, 2013 9:40 AM (in response to NickBoston)Yes it is a normal behavior as media encoder is not designed to use your source footage in premiere pro it is used to encode the media in different format and then use output folder to do so. As per me it is normal that it is creating a individual folder for source footages and also if the file is needed to be encoded in many formats and then export through premiere pro then it is useful so if you are using it to edit your source footage quickly by encoding it and then relink the source footage then you can directly take it to premiere end edit. It will save time..
