My browser (Chrome) keeps giving me the notice that Adobe Flash Player needs to be updated.

Now I have run this update so many time I hate to count.

I've tried to run as Administrator, but it keeps comeing back that Adobe is out of date.

How do I over come this problem?

Oh! yes , I even tried the Debug down load to no avial.

Thanks Pat for your reply.

Unfortunatly it doesnt address my problem in full.

I have dwelled over this and other Google support pages.

The page in question refers to typing

"chrome:plugins in the address bar to open the Plug-ins page."

Now you can call me PC illitrate, but to which Address bar is his to be writen?

When ever I try it returns me to same page as to the one that you have just refered.

If this is correct, then where is the Flash listing in which to Enable or Disable?

I do not use Chrome, so I can't give you more information on it.  But this should give you some clues: http://googlechrometutorial.com/google-chrome-general-settings/Google-chrome-address-bar.html - don't forget to hit the Enter key after typing chrome:plugins

Im going to try almost anything to resolve this issue.

So I tried a complete uninstall as directed by one of the links on this forum.

Unfortunately I didn't succeed.

After reinstalling the same issue persists.

Uninstall of what?  Chrome, I hope, as Flash Player is integrated in Chrome.

No, I actually tried a link recommended by you Pat.

I'm not getting any closer via your other recommendation either.

It appears to me that there's a fundamental problem in the latest update by the number of complaints incurred to date.

A thousand appologies to anyone at Adobe if I may of offended.

I have a break through to my specific problem( at least I hope it stays this way).

The problem may not hold with Adobe, but with Google Chrome.

I ran an update for Chrome and the Adobe Flash player seems to be working.

Anybody useing Chrome with Adobe update problems, just try to update your Chrome browser
