I get an error after the installer initializes

the computer i am trying to install flash player on is Windows XP Pro. I have tried installing with  IE 8. and when i couldnt get that working i installed Firefox19 and it still gives me the same error.

I get this error after the installer finishes initializes and after i click yes or no it says retrieving install with 0% progress and i have to close the installer and it deletes itself.

Help please?

You surely did not get the same error with the offline installer...?

Yes I did get the same error with the offline installer, I figured out the problem. I had to install in safe mode due to a conflict with another program.
