The player says "preparing installation" and I usually get a box that says "run" "save" or "cancel." I don't even get that. I removed Adobe from my computer now. How can I install the player?

The link you gave me below works the way its suppose to except with one hangup. The installatiomn will continue when the Internet Explorer is closed. I closed it. There's nothing to close. It won't go any further.

You need to close all instances of IE; check with the Task Manager's Processes tab if it's still running in the background.
