    How to reset Effects

    adob1948 Community Member

I worked some examples of the classroom in a book

and aplied the dynamic processing at page 68.

Now when I want to use that effect,

I can not find a blank effect rack with 16 inserts, each of them with an arrow to the right.

In particula I want to use the Speech Volume Leveler in the classroom book page 74.

      There is stated:

Click an "Effects Rack Insert" right arrow button, and ..............

How get I access to the "Effects Rack Insert" ?

      Thanks, adob1948

Effects Racks work slightly differently depending whether you are working in Waveform or multitrack view.  If you go to the Window menu in Audition make sure that Effects Rack is enabled by clicking on it if it is not already ticked. The Effects Rack should appear in the panels to the left of the waveform or track view.

Also in Multitrack view each track has it's own fx rack available by selecting the FX icon, second of four, at the top of eachTrack panel.

I am in Waveform mode with the FFT open.

I can see the Effect Rack open.

            1. But there are not the 16 Inserts visble. Its blank.

As I understand the classroom book, I have to press the right button in order to see choose an effect.

            2. When I rightclick into the effect rack, I get a menu with analog delay ...

but I dont get the Speech Volume Leveler with a grafic controled compressor.

When I used that, it was something as Amplitude and Noise > and a second menu with details

            Thanks,

You should see the Effects Rack as in the picture. In this one only three of the sixteen slots are visible but you can scroll down using the scroll bar on the right of the Effects Rack panel. You should then left click on the right of each numbered rack slot to show the menu of available effects to add to that slot.
