Flash Player default installation on Windows 8

Hi,

I've upgraded my computer to Windows 8 Pro x64 with a clean fresh install.

I was surprised that Flash 11.6 was already installed (as Windows XP was shipped with Flash 8).

But the most surprising thing is that this Flash install is 'hard-installed'. We don't have Add/Remove Program for Flash player.

Is this intentional ?

Thanks,

Vincent

Yes, this is an intentional change made by Microsoft.  Here's a FAQ that gives a high level overview.
