Trouble Installing Flash Player

Windows 7 Professional

I have downloaded the Flash Player installation application from Firefox successfully.  When I double click to install I get nothing.  In the Windows Task Manager the process is running with 00.  I have ended the process and rebooted several times with still no luck in installing.  I have also right clicked on the download in the containing folder and clicked the "unblock" button, and disabled all antivirus and firewall.  Still no luck.  Please advise on how I can get this installed on the PC.
