adobe will not install

adobe will not install what do i do?

To help troubleshoot we'll need the following system information:

• Flash   Player version

What's occuring when you try to do the install?  Are you receiving any error messages?

I just had the same problem. My system is Windows XP (32 bit), Internet Explorer 8. I had to close all programs, go to Control Panel and Remove my older version first.
