Flash Download Fail

I have repeatedly tried to update my Flash player. I have ALL the requirements for the version I am intending.

The Problem is that, over and over, for months, it stops at 50% downloaded and tells me to close my Incredimail  and IE programs.

I do all that I know how ..to accomplish that but it appears I don't know enough. I am disabled and  using my hands is painful, so I

always end up quitting, frustrated.

It is probably a simple answer that I just don't have... I am a completely self taugh Baby-Boomer...Help!   Thanks, Catrinka

Download the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_hea... and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

If the installer still tells you to close IE, use the Task Manager's Processes tab to end all iexplore.exe processes.
